Host: Timothy Westmyer

Timothy Westmyer is a Program Manager working on nuclear nonproliferation at CRDF Global. Prior to CRDF Global, Timothy ran research projects on nuclear weapons and nuclear security at the Rising Powers Initiative at George Washington University and served a foreign affairs assistant in the State Department’s International Security and Nonproliferation bureau supporting efforts at the Nuclear Security Summits and the Global Partnership. He has also has worked at the Council on Foreign Relations, the U.S. Senate, and a presidential campaign. His writing has been published by the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, CSIS, INMM, The DiplomatDemocracy Arsenal, and Arms Control Today. He earned his B.A. in history and international relations at the University of Redlands and M.A. in Nonproliferation and Unconventional Weapons at Georgetown University.
